Working with Lenovo, Disney, and Lucasfilm on this project at The Woo was an absolute dream come true. We had the opportunity to work closely with the mad scientists known as the Disney Imagineers to invent a way to capture the game visuals in camera – the original launch spots have no compositing of gameplay. How wild is that?

The Woo was tasked with teasing the much anticipated launch of Star Wars: Jedi Challenges AR experience at Disney’s D23 convention. But the force was strong with this content; it became the hero of Lenovo and Disney’s broadcast and digital campaign to awaken your inner Jedi.

The broadcast and digital campaigns were designed to ride the wave of the upcoming movie launch of The Last Jedi. To reach beyond the genre’s enthusiasts and excite the casual Star Wars fan. How? By letting viewers feel what it’s like to wield a lightsaber for the first time – and to face-off against the Dark Side’s greatest villains in their own living room.

In addition to the digital & broadcast videos, The Woo rolled out 3 social campaigns for the following periods: Teaser for D23, Pre-order for holidays and Holiday.
